Product Description

1.Application
 ABC cables primarily used for 120 volt overhead service applications such as street
 lighting.outdoor lighting.and temporary service for construction. To be used at voltage of 600 volts phase- to -phase or less and
 at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75C for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90'C for crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)
 insulated conductors.

Covered line wireCovered line wire is used primarily for overhead secondary distribution lines.It is not an electrically insulated conductor and is treated as bare conductor when installed.

Duplex service dropTo supply 120 volt aerial service for temporary service at construction sites, outdoor or street lighting. For service at 600 volts or lower at a conductor temperature of 75 °C maximum.

Triplex service drop
 To supply power from the utility’s lines to the consumer’s weatherhead. For service at 600 volts or less (phase to phase) at a conductor temperature of 75°Cmaximum for polyethylene insulation or 90°C maximum for cross linked insulation.

Messenger:
 Duplex overhead aluminum wire has a bare ACSR messenger. Optional constructions include a messenger of AAC or 6201 alloy.
 Insulation:
 Cables with duplex overhead service drop conductors have a black cross linked polyethylene ( XLP) insulation.

Triplex Service Drop Wire.
 Triplex aluminum wire has three conductors, with one of them being for neutral path, and two electrodes. The aluminum triplex
 cable is an electrical cable meant for power distributions from the utility lines to the consumer’s premises through the weather
 head. It has an operational voltage rating at 600 V and the maximum temperature rating of 75°C.
Messenger:
 Aluminum triplex cable has a bare ACSR messenger. Optional constructions include a messenger of AAC or 6201 alloy.
